It's not exactly new news to say that those of us here at MG are very excited about the upcoming game Tom Clancy's The Division. We got yet another juicy taste of the brand new engine that will be powering the game. Snow Drop, named by Ubisoft & Massive Entertainment was unveiled in a brief, but eye watering video at GDC 2014 just today.

It's quite clear that games using Snow Drop will be insanely realistic from the gamer point of view, but the more exciting news is that the engine is seemingly more friendly to the developer than engines of past, and this could definitely translate into some very exciting AAA titles to come.

Tom Clancy's The Division is the flagship Snow Drop title. Expect some awesome things in this game. We anticipate a release fall/winter 2014.

What do you think of Snow Drop?
